Better grab a copy of this book. Judd Roy made good points...the holocaust. lol. But, really, the book is somehow interesting, knowing that I myself had an affair with an older woman.

This week, Fully Booked: Dialogue takes its discussion to post-holocaust Germany with Bernard Schlink's The Reader. Schlink weaves a tale of seduction and intrigue as he uncovers the affair between fifteen-year-old Michael Berg and thirty-year-old Hannah Schmidt. The book quickly goes beyond the taboos of age and sex as the two soon realize that their relationship is fueled not only by their passion in bed, but by the books read aloud by Michael to Hannah. And as the novel moves from Michael's prepubescence to his adulthood, he discovers that their connection survives long past the summer of their affair.

This episode of Fully Booked: Dialogue brings together the opinions and ideas of Anton Conejos, (Literature Professor, The Loyola Schools), Pia Faustino, (Producer of GMA-7), Timmy Potenciano (Freelance Copywriter) and Judd Roy (Professor of Law, Ateneo de Manila Law), as the four take us behind the riveting and captivating words of The Reader; in a lively discussion about sex, love and the holocaust.
